Christmas Day in Tennessee

We had a simple Christmas Day in Chattanooga and enjoyed every minute of it.  Life can be hectic so to have this whole 24 hours together was a family of three was the best present of all.  We started off with breakfast and an awkward mama/son photo....
"Excuse me but what are you planning to do with that knife?! Woofieletmedown!"
Forrest made his famous fluffy waffles while I scrambled up southwestern eggs.  He had a 2-in-1 breakfast: spicy eggs with a bloody mary and then honey-drenched waffles with coffee.  On the other hand, I piled all my food together and ate it like a sandwich - different strokes.  After stuffing ourselves, we decided to go for a very chilly walk while the streets were completely empty....
Yes, it was as cold as it looks.
I'm going to miss seeing this city decked for the holidays.
"Hold up lady, I spy a sidewalk crumb! Woofieyum!"
Wishing his favorite watering hole was open - no luck.
And finally it was time to unleash the beast.....
"Did you say presents?!!! Woof woof!"
"It better not be a lump of coal! Rrrrwoof!"
"Hmmm, this is interesting?"
Salvador got a gigantic light bulb that tastes like mint (and will hopefully help with that stank breaf) and a new bone.
Merry Christmas, Pup.

  4. Awwww, looks like you had a great Christmas. We stayed put and celebrated with just our little family this year too. And, great minds think alike, we also ate waffles for breakfast... we did ours topped with berries and whipped cream. Yums!
