Over the long weekend, we spent a few hours climbing boulders (him) and strolling around in the cold weather (me + sal). It was the perfect way to say goodbye to one of my favorite years to date.

Forrest cleaned off this rock with a toothbrush, chalked up his hands, laid out his crash pad, and started climbing while we sat on the sidelines.....
"safety first, papa! woof woof!"
"my turn to climb something! woofiewoof!"
We made it out of the woods just in time for lunch at
Mojo Burrito in the St Elmo neighborhood.....
meatless taco salad with a huge bowl of guacamole, yep.
i foresee many more walks and mojo burritos in 2013.
