that time salvador went for a swim....
It started out as an innocent run around the river walk on Saturday afternoon. Blue skies, no rain, and a cold breeze surrounded our stroll.

Because it had rained for a week straight, the river was extremely high. All was great until Forrest suggested that Sal and I walk a balance beam out into the water and, for some reason, I agreed.
"watch this, suckas! woofie!"
And out of nowhere, the fluff jumped in the water and was thisclose to taking me in with him (this photo doesn't even come close to showcasing the chaos we shared with everyone else in the park). I flipped out because we aren't sure if he can swim and I can barely stay afloat. Thankfully, the collar and leash strangled him long enough for me to get my $*&% together and rescue him.
note to self: buy a pair of floaties for the both of us

DeleteHaha my dog just did that to me last week. Thankfully the lake was man made and only 3 feet deep because he is a lot heavier than Salvador and would've for sure pulled me in. Comical!
